SCHEDULE FOR THE MFANYINMA PROJECT

The Mfanyima Orphanage is an orphanage located along the Rice mill Road of Wukari LGA, Taraba State, Nigeria. It is behind Rock Foundation Schools. Noting the need for some assistance for the orphanage, our Foundation has scheduled a four day project, the Mfanyima Project, to cover some educational themes and also offer some ‘relief’ in terms of gifts.

The first three days of the project would comprise a workshop of two to three hour lectures and talks by selected Specialists, particularly Corp Members on themes that would cover Basic Computer Appreciation; Health Issues and Concerns; and Motivational Talks. On the final day of the project, the Foundation would lead donors with gifts for the orphanage. It is the hope of the Foundation to present items like clothing; foodstuff; slippers; writing materials; and toilet rolls among others.

Schedule for Mfanyima Project:

• Wednesday, 28^th July, 2010:          Basic Computer Appreciation (2:00pm – 5:00pm)
• Thursday, 29^th July, 2010:             Health Issues and Concerns (2:00pm – 5:00pm)
• Friday, 30^th July, 2010:                  Motivational Talks (2:00pm – 5:00pm)
• Saturday, 31^st July, 2010:              Presentation of items to the Orphanage (11:30am)

(The Venue for the entire project is the Mfanyima Orphanage, Rice mill Road, Wukari)

We are currently looking at modalities of organising a mass march to the Orphanage from the Wukari Recreation Centre. Convergence time is 10:30 am on 31^st July, 2010 while the march would start at 11:00. As soon as the march reaches the orphanage, there would be a few speeches and then, the presentation of items would be made to the orphanage. It is our hope that the march would sensitize people on the need for support of the Orphanage as well as create awareness for it.

The Mfanyima project does not end on the 7^th of August, 2010 as the Foundation hopes to give what assistance it can to the Orphanage.
